  • Bergen County’s only Sexual Violence Resource Center—is a safe and welcoming place for survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones. Your donation helps support the dedicated 24/7 hotline; vital services such as accompanying survivors to hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and legal proceedings; and sexual violence education and outreach.

  • YWCA Bergen County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We are the area’s largest provider of childcare services, a recognized leader in health and fitness programs, and operator of healingSPACE, Bergen County’s only Sexual Violence Resource Center. Celebrating nearly a century of commitment to our community, today we improve the lives of thousands of women, girls, and their families with the generous support of our donors.

  • YWCA Bergen County’s women’s empowerment programs provide powerful opportunities for women to connect, share, learn, and lead, helping entrepreneurs launch new businesses, mothers and caregivers return to work, women of color take leadership positions, chronically unemployed women get back to work, and women leaders further develop and thrive. $50 provides a day of professional development for a woman seeking employment.

  • YWCA Bergen County’s adapted recreation programs empower those with special needs to improve their self‐confidence as well as their fitness levels. Rising costs and more participants mean a greater need for scholarships. Your support helps ease the financial burden on families. $200 enables a special needs child to receive swim instruction.

  • YWCA Bergen County’s programs for girls empower the women of tomorrow by giving them the tools to realize their full potential. Funding is crucial for programs such as our Empower U Girls Leadership Academy that helps girls become confident, college‐bound, and career‐ready. Your support expands the community of empowered young women who will also inspire and empower others. $300 gives three deserving high school sophomores a year‐long Empower U scholarship.

  • YWCA Bergen County’s child care and summer camps empower working parents by giving them the security of knowing their children are safe, nurtured, and educated. As requests for financial aid increase, so does our need for funds to provide scholarships to deserving families, which your donation can help fulfill. $400 sends a child to summer camp for a week.
